Liz Godwin is an Atlanta-based interior designer who was drawn to beautiful homes and decorative arts at an early age, growing up with parents also in the industry. While an art history major at Davidson College, she interned for Sotheby’s Auction House in New York and studied art and architecture in Italy for a semester. After college, she lived in London and completed a Decorative Arts Course at Sotheby’s. Godwin’s love of interior design was sparked during an internship with Atlanta design legend Dan Carithers, and then she went on to learn the intricacies of the design business while working many years for noted designer Jackye Lanham. Since establishing Elizabeth Godwin Interiors in 2015, she has mastered her own approach to design and keeps the importance of creating luxurious yet livable spaces at the forefront of each new project.
